Discover, cook and taste the traditional flavours of Umbria by visiting their places of origin and combining an interest for the countryside with a love of good food.
For lovers of wine and good eating:
Dal Moro Gallery Restaurant.
Once again, sommelier Francesco Marchetti and chef Marco Pellegrini are happy to welcome you for a stimulating week dedicated to wine and food, rich in new discoveries.
The
month of February will focus on Cheese, Pecorino of Norcia and Salted Ricotta [soft white salted cheese made from sheep's milk]. Coupled with visits to the Creamery Factory at Assisi, the Sportoletti wine cellars and the Trevi oil mill, and followed by cooking courses and gourmet tasting dinners - all this will leave you with a magnificent holiday in Umbria to remember.
Due to the season’s availability of certain Umbrian products, the packages vary from month to month.
In general they include the following:
STAY: at the Dal Moro Gallery Hotel (4 stars), in double Comfort room.
GUIDED EXCURSIONS: include minibus and driver. Commentaries during the excursions are delivered by a Italian-English bilingual professional tourist guide. The excursions include the places and producers that have best preserved the traditions and work methods of Umbrian products.
COOKING LESSONS: in the modern and fully equipped kitchen restaurant, which has a specially allocated room for lessons. Presentations and commentaries by the chef Marco Pellegrini, aided by a mother tongue English language simultaneous interpreter.
DINNERS AND TASTINGS: served in the magnificent Vignola terrace. Presentations and commentaries by sommelier Francesco Marchetti, aided by a mother tongue English language simultaneous interpreter.
