The bus network in Perugia is made up of 16 main lines that run every 20-30 minutes and 14 secondary lines running every 30-60 minutes to and from the ciy outskirts towards the centre of town and between the different areas. The itineraries are designed to render access possible to all the strategic point in the city, whether by direct service or through a connection. The

covers an area of 590,000 kilometres chiefly in low-request areas of the territory around Perugia, where clients are able to request deviations with respect to the pre-arranged itinerary.
SPECIAL DISABLED PERSONS SERVICE:
The Perugia local administration arranges for this service to reach those that have need of it within certain itineraries. 92,000 kilometres of service were covered in 1998.
NEW BUS TERMINAL • PIAZZA PARTIGIANI, PERUGIA
The new bus terminal serving Perugia's city and external bus lines has been operative since 1999. The structure covers an area of 8,000 square metres and is used by 5,000 passengers daily, 2,000 of which between 1.10 and 2pm. The terminal is equipped with optimum facilities for clients and advanced information systems. The terminal functions as an arrival and departure point for lines running outside Perugia, as well as a connection point for the city lines.
