Between
Viale Indipendenza and
Tre Archi,
Palazzo della Penna once housed an important art collection.
After a series of restoration works were carried out on the palazzo, two of its rooms now have on permanent display works by the Umbrian-born painter
Gerardo Dottori (1884-1977) [Trittico della Velocità] and some of the
German artist Joseph Beuys (1921-86), a teacher at the Fine Arts Academy of Düsseldorf.
