The
Palazzo Arcivescovile (Archbishop’s residence), between Palazzo dei Priori and Via Maestà delle Volte, houses the
Museum of Natural History, named after
Monsignor Giulio Cicioni who promoted during the last century was a lively promoter of building up a collection of minerals, fossiles, samples of exotic fauna, reptiles, birds and fish, and finally a herbarium.
