Set among the wooded Umbrian hills just 7 kilometres
from the centre of Perugia, the imposing Castello dell'Oscano
was saved from ruin at the end of the 18th century by a
Tirolese Austrian named Telfner.
Today it functions as a prestigious and elegant period
residence of extraordinary charm and seduction, a time warp
through which guests can imagine themselves in another age as
they stroll through the park, eat in the magnificent dining
room or just read a book in the castle's well-stocked library
